Our Honey

Wildflower Honey

Our wildflower honey captures the best of the NC Piedmont’s diverse blooms. Primarily drawn from tulip poplar, blackberry, and clover, this honey pours a rich amber hue and offers a deep, confection‑style sweetness. Each jar reflects the seasonal tapestry of nectar sources just miles from our apiaries—creating a complex yet familiar flavor that keeps our customers coming back year after year.

Tupelo Honey

New this season, our tupelo honey is sourced from tupelo gum trees flourishing in the swampy lowlands of South Georgia and North Florida. This honey is exceptionally light in color, with a clean, bright aroma and a silky, floral taste that lingers on the palate. Celebrated across the South for its smooth finish and signature bouquet, our tupelo harvest adds a beautifully subtle contrast to our other offerings.

Sourwood Honey

Each summer, we journey into the NC Mountains to harvest sourwood honey from trees that thrive in the high elevations east of the Blue Ridge Parkway, stretching from North Georgia through Southern Virginia. The sourwood nectar flow hinges on precise weather, altitude, and tree density—making the harvest both challenging and unpredictable. When successful, the result is a light‑toned honey prized at tasting contests for its delicate, buttery flavor and rarity.
